Often these little biscuits always finds their place next to a cup of coffee, but lovers of the classic Lotus Biscoff biscuit can now have their favourite in the form of ice cream!
Originally, launched in European stores in 2018, but the ice cream has finally found its way into British stores just in time for Summer.
However, they will only be stocked in selected Waitrose stores at £3.89 for a three packet, which costs £1.30 per ice cream.
Each ice cream has a layer of Belgian milk chocolate which contains small pieces of the biscuit, then another layer of Lotus Biscoff spread and ice cream.
But there are still some Lotus Biscoff ice cream products unavailable to the UK such as the ice cream tubs.
For now, you can make your own Lotus Biscoff ice cream and find the recipe on the Lotus website.
Ingredients:
400g of concentrated milk
1/4 jar of Lotus Biscoff spread
8-10 chopped Lotus Biscoff biscuits
480g of heavy cream
1. Mix condensed milk with the Lotus Biscoff spread into a bowl. Add the chopped biscuits and mix well.
2. Whip the heavy cream into a firm whipped cream and slowly fold the whipped cream into the Biscoff mixture.
3. Pour into a container for freezing up to four hours or over night.
4. Make the ice cream into scoops with a tablespoon or coop and see. You can enjoy this ice cream for up to a week after making.
