EasyJet's New Feature for Insta-fans

EasyJet has launched a new Instagram booking feature!

Users can now upload a screenshot of a photo posted on Instagram to the EasyJet app and can instantly find the best flight options to their chosen destination.

The feature, known as Look&Book, makes it so much easier for all of us stuck at home with holiday envy to plan our next trip based on our Instagram feeds.

The app uses recognition technology to identify key features in each picture, before bringing up flight option which show the closes airport to both the location in the image, and the current location of the user.

Look&Book will use geotags on Instagram to help identify where that beautiful beach you want to sun yourself on in 2019 might be.

The feature is targeted at our jealous desires to visit the idyllic scenes we see in others’ Instagram photos, as trends suggest that travellers are becoming more likely to book a holiday based on social media posts.

Look&Book can be found on the EasyJet App by clicking ‘action and share extensions’ once a screenshot has been uploaded. A notification will then take the user to their latest holiday options.
