Sophie's Wish Haul

Naturally, we all go to the high street chains such as New Look and River Island, yet avoid all cheap budget websites. But what if we tried a cheap budget website with products from China, with no idea what quality these clothes will be in?

For a fashion haul, I ordered four items to see if Wish lived up to expectations.

Three Quarter Navy Shirt

I am a size 10 on top so for this I ordered a medium size. The size of the shirt surprised me as it fitted me well! The material was very comfortable, but the gold chain holding the shirt together, seemed very cheap looking and felt wiry. Despite this, I was impressed with overall design and it would be fitting to wear for any occasion.

I thought I would challenge the website by choosing a product where the trousers fall on a higher place on a person with long legs. First, when putting these on, I honestly thought I wasn't going to fit, as, they looked so small in the packaging. Yet somehow they seemed to fit me... just. I am a size 10 in trousers and ordered the medium size. The material is stretchy and does allow for some extra room, which helps if you have thicker thighs than other people. As a person with short legs, the trouser length was actually perfect for me, as they become an ankle grazer style of trouser.

Cat Socks

As the sizing of this was one size and did not specify whether the product was women's or children's, I decided to test this out. I got these in the grey tabby stripe and I am happy to say, they fit really well. I do have small feet so this is not a surprise. But I know someone else who has these socks and has larger feet than me, so these socks could be truly one size fits all.

Nick Cage Vest

When people told me, you could find anything on Wish, I never realised to what extent you could find "anything." I never understood the obsession with the internet and Nick Cage, but I am now a person who owns something with Nick Cage on it. But I never expect this in a form of a vest top... with his face all over it. Surprisingly, his face was in very high quality and on both sides of the vest. The weirdest thing about this vest was how it was the best fitting item out of all the Wish items I ordered. I never know if I will wear this again, but it did give me a few laughs when trying it on.

Overall experience:

Wish was surprisingly quick with their deliveries with three of the packages arriving before the delivery date. I had a surprisingly positive experience with Wish and the clothes. I am not sure if I will be ordering many of their clothes again, but I don't think it was bad for the price I had paid for it.
